Right. The Quenta Silmarillion Mod is looking to recruit a new, full-time, experienced coder and a modeler. Currently, our team has only 4 members:

  • FellbeastIII, head modeler and skinner.
  • Me, head coder, and modeler and skinner.
  • Past5evermark, mapper
  • future4, mapper

​The mod plans to completely remodel the game. The 6 existing factions will be removed, and 4 new ones will take their place: Edain, Naugrim, Noldor, and Angband. For more info on that, visit our ModDB page, our website, our T3A page, or the main forums.

Currently, the problem is the fact that we only have 1 coder and two modelers. So, we need to recruit 1 new coder at least, and 1 new modeler. Here are some screens:

There are not many "full-time, experienced coders and modellers" around these days ;)

I think because you have not done any work for it? Unless I am mistaken that is...Work so far here looks decent.

Well, i have. i've done the entire wild spellbook and its different components (commandset, commandbuttons, science, specialpower, etc.). I have them squeezed into one file, divided into sections. Now, the problem is the fact that i have not been able to get on Revora for around a month. So, i have not been able to tell you i'm done with it. perhaps one of you could give me your emails, and i can mail you the file by Friday?

anyway, this is not the place to discuss that. PM me for that. For now, I am looking to recruit a new coder and modeler.

Good god, take the argument away from the thread guys! And we actually need a coder and a model rigger. Yes, full time would be nice, but we're up for taking on near-newb coder (as in with at least a little experience). It's mostly because of the sheer amount of stuff. Again, thank you for any assistance you could provide.

And ReallyFat? Some advice: if a mod team doesn't want you parading around with their signature, take it off until they want you to put it on. It's called being courteous.

The mod looks good so far :) . I'd like to help you but I don't have any knowledge for coding or modding . I can only support you and maybe give some suggestions .... not much though , since it's much more easier to imagine thant to do .

Well I learned to model, skin, and animate now. So I can help with 2d-art, modeling, skinning, animating, mapping, and coding :) although with coding i've never touched a .bse file :o

Why not play the Quenta Silmarillion custom map on warcraft 3? It has been played for 8 years and the community still lives!

Maybe because this is a whole new mod with new maps, factions, wotr mode and much more ;)
