The next version of the mod is coming out very soon, and none of our testers have reported that bug. I think I experience a similar thing sometimes though, and usually right clicking with the mouse or just clicking elsewhere can solve it. I recall having the same problems in vanilla so it is probably just a bug with the base game.

Days.
I just got the pre-release Gamma issue for final checking. The testing team give this a blitz test just to make sure, and pass back to PR and me with comments and then we make final twiddles, pack it, bag it, and release it.

Note that the release candidate is not yet ready. But, yeah, we're close.

downloading ANYTHING takes way to long, and thanks to my brother's fixation of Modern Warfare 3, I'm berated for downloading anything (still do though, lol.) he can get a bit violent when he plays certain games. guy once threw a PS2 controller, it hit me in the head, and when it hit the floor, it shattered. he was playing NFL Street

Sounds like he has some anger management issues. The release candidate for v1.2 is ~150MB in terms of download (it's heavily compressed), so even with a slow connection it shouldn't take too long.

Is there a chance we can get a non-installer version for people who know what they're doing? I don't particularly like installers for mods since I don't like running .exe files since I never know what they're doing and I just can't delete the installed mod without leaving installer info on my computer.

That's not necessarily true if I have the uninstaller delete the associated registry keys. I'm using NSIS and I'll have to see what the final product entails before making that decision. At the least, I can tell you what it does in the readme.
