Any suggestions on potential mirrors for v1.2? Obviously FileFront and Mod DB will get it, but where else?

I can't really say I've used large file hosts, but I hear good things about Dropbox. Says the have up to 2GB free.
Also seen a lot of Mediafire and, of course, Rapidshare.

I'd personally avoid Rapidshare because of its wait times. I use mediafire because it has no such limits, but it does have a 200MB file limit I think (not a problem in our case).

What about posting it at the usenet?, with a good news server one can download posts going back more than 3 years.

I think if a torrent is going to work, we would need several members with a high upload speed. I don't know what kind of upload speeds pr and team have, but with half a dozen members with a high speed it would be a good alternative. I have a upload speed of 400Kb/s atm, 500 at the end of the month and i would be happy to help seed it.

I push 1.2-1.5 mb/s upload and 1.1-1.5 dl, sometimes my network craps out for a few seconds though

im down for the torrent idea, but theres some flaws. some of us might not be able to torrent at certain times. in my case, i cannot torrent anything between sunday at 7pm and friday 7pm eastern standard time, on account of my being at a college that has a no torrenting policy. then theres the issue of sites. which one to use. on the other hand, i can help you guys at demonoid.me, if you decide to use that site, but arent members. if youre unfamiliar with demonoid, they use an invite only system, where i think up to 5 people can be invited per month by a single user or something along those lines. if you modders want to go that route, let me know and ill send every invite code that i can

I've got a 2mbps upload that I could leave running for a torrent seed. Problem is that I'd need to turn that off when I want to stream.

Well I don't really download much in the way of torrents, let alone creating or distributing. Hope it turned out alright.
