First and foremost congratulations on the new release, so far it looks simply awesome. Huge thanks also for the manual - with all the new ideas/changes it will be read quite often. :thumbsupcool:

Now for my problem. Sorry if I missed something, but I seem not to be able to build anything in land skirmish. Might have something to do with my Steam install (the installer put the Mods folder into Empire at War and not FoC, but I moved it and changed Steam EaW startup preferences accordingly. Had also to remove the XML folders.

GC seems to work fine, Space Skirmish as well (on a map I tried I only had capital shipyard, no fighters, but I guess I might have picked a wrong map) but in Land Skirmish no units can be built.

I tried Official Maps, Custom Maps, changing difficulties and the "prebuilt base" option. I CAN built factories and build pads but apart from that I'm stuck with my original four infantry platoons. Kind of hard to get past the turbolasers... :D

Any ideas?

Land Skirmish was deactivated - it wasn't ready (think land v1.1). I hope that notice made it into the manual, but I'm not sure.

Might have as well missed it although I tried to find a mention about it before posting here. Thanks for the reply.

Also, on a side note, is it possible that some ships have insanely high turning speeds? The bulwark for one makes a 180 degree turn in a few seconds and the IPVs in my Skirmish just "snapped" (for lack of a better word) into a different position to fire on a new target. The former example is from GC, the latter from Skrimish, in case that matters.

In EaW, you get better turning speed if you're also moving. That kind of threw off the stats, but we'll address it.

Yea I noticed it too. Like my MC120 can turn by 180 degrees in 5 sec. This should be fixed because it is looking really weird and unrealistic.
