so i couldnt help but notice that the manual doesn't have a Heroes list, at least one that i saw. and youve gotten rid of the mini-manual from 1.1 on the site. might there be a new list on the site/ an update to the manual?

The site pages were out-of-date, so I just took them down for now to avoid confusion. The website needs an overhaul anyway. I'm sure someone can run through the campaign files and post where to find the heroes.

Any use?

I've grabbed the data from the campaign files, stuck them in a couple of spreadsheets and sorted by both the hero's name and the location, so it's easy to a) find who you're looking for, and b) decide which planets to capture to get to the heroes you want (or stop the enemy building heroes there).

I noticed some of the heroes have multiple locations (Thrawn Offensive has this a lot, Han has 5 locations), could one of the coders confirm (or deny) that in those cases you can pick whichever planet you want to build the hero at, assuming you control it.

Yup, hero locations in the historical campaigns are multiple and based on where they could be found in that time period. In the gameplay campaigns, locations are singular and derived from homeworld. Thanks for doing this!
