Well, do you have enough disk space? You need more than 100MB for most of the large campaigns. You might also be running out of Windows Page File space. Either way, it seems that you need to clean up your HDD and try again.

i have over 200 GB of space left on the hard disk-the only thing i can see that it would be referring to is the actual EAW/FOC disk which has none left
also i just found out that someone else is having the same problems as i am with Galaxy FAR FAR away-it might just be that map, im going to try one of the other 100 planet maps and see how that works out

one thing you do have to remember though-is that i am not all that great with comoputers:)-so something you might find easy to fix would be harder for me:)

Okay, all I needed to hear was that you had enough space on your hard disk. That means I'll go check it out myself sometime this weekend when I'm not ill.

I've gotten the same problem too, not only on PR, but on Alliance too. I have over 160 gigs left on my hard drive. I was finally able to save until my game gave me the insufficient disk space error. To compensate for this, I use 2 save games, with one as a backup.

thanks bob-1 hope u get better and thanks for helping-u always seem to help first:) if u remember Guest Spencer:) PJ-im doing the same thing. BUT, sometimes that wont always work and the game will delete EVERY save file-the other campaigns work fine-but i am personally trying to go in chronological order for each campaign- find that funner:)

Thanks, pj, it sounds like the bug is either inherent to EaW or your operating system.

Another question, how much RAM do you have?

I also had this problem with GFAA and Thrawn campaign, I have 230 GB free and 8GB of ram, page file is large enough.

I've had this same issue "okay when i tried to save my game-it said no disc space avaiable for some reason and then deleted my campaign" and I've got over a TB free on that same drive with 12GB of ddr3 ram.
Got to say this has only happened to me once though.

Extract the patch to FoC\Mods\Phoenix_Rising_v1.2\Data.

im still having the same problem-except the saving isnt dissapearing as much-but the game is still crashing everynow and then- the patch did prevent it from crashing every 30 minutes though and i can usually player to about 3 hours before it crashes again-so the game is MUCH more enjoyable
