As promised in this thread, the update comes. With a remake of a Paladin siege unit, and 2 maps.

Characteristic:
  • weapon treated as large (extra damage to small units)
  • ignores Vintarid energy shields (deals full damage)
  • crystalline armor (reduced damage from non-conventional weapons)
  • vulnerable to Vintarid antipsionics
  • deploys to become invisible
  • on deploy multiple Eidolons can support each other
Maps
Except for the maps that are available in the playable version, i made a few more maps and added them to DD. Here are 2 of them.
Sadly, i don't have new building graphics yet, so the old ones will have to suffice for the previews. :p

Craterfalls (2-2)
Rabid Rat Race (2-2) (this map is made for very short games in mind - hence the name :p ).

Nice jobs... tho blue Tiberium in RA2 just doesn't fit IMO. :p Maybe recolor MadHQ's crystals to blue, you can sell that.

The unit is great, nice usage of i-am-beyond-the-control-of-light colors. Maps are nice too.

Yeah, the crystal on the voxel looks surprisingly good. Only thing I don't like is the discrepancy between the voxel version and structure version/buildup, but there's not much you can do for that so never mind :p. Agreeing with Graion on the Tiberium as well, altough if you need to change ore palette (temperat.pal) you might have some 'fun times' ahead since changing it causes weird voxel color issues.

Thank you. And thanks for telling me about temperat.pal, i'll know what's going on if my voxels suddenly start to look funny for no apparent reason. :p
However, I don't want to use MadHQs crystals since they're not exactly how i wanted my resources to look like (the current ones aren't either :p , but since i'll be making a new 'ore', and i don't want to make another placeholder, i'll keep this for now).

As for the animation, well, i may be needing to adjust the lights, so it isn't this bright (the unit should be a bit darker actually...).
