over the past week firefox changed it's font for me and it looks horrible, i had to use internet explorer and its not what I like.
The font is very weird and not like the arial I normally see.

Tools > Options > Content > Fonts & Colors > Advanced.
You might be able to change something in there. No guarantees if people are forcing a particular font in their website code.

I tried that but it didn't work, I'm with Chrome right now which is bareable, but what was up with the sudden change?

tried that doesn't work.
Chrome is fine but Mozilla was the best :cry:

Another thing you coud try is removing/renaming your Firefox profile (your user settings) and having Firefox create a new one. It's stored at C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default.

If you don't mind my asking, what exactly changed? The image doesn't show much except maybe some 'faded' text.
the text is pixelated in a different font :|
And it put it back to the original but didn't do anything.
@phil that didn't work either :(.
I'm content with chrome for now :(

Ok I think I take this into an I.T. shop tomorrow and force them to fix it.
Doesn't help I have to carry around my 17" laptop gets heavy :(

Just to be sure: What happened is that the fonts in Firefox changed (after you did what exactly?), it's like that on all sites you view, but this font change only affects Firefox and no other programs. Is that correct?
Can you post a screenshot of the advanced font settings? ("Options" > Tab "Content" > Section "Fonts & Colors" > "Advanced")

It also affects windows live essentials... It's weird, as soon as I installed that program it changed (I uninstalled it as well) but it only affects firefox. will add the images in a moment.
