Hey all!
Just a note to say that i've updated my map pack, which can be found here:

Haldir's Map Pack

The map pack contains 19 of my maps, which are also available through the Dwarf Holds mod. Each of the maps has been converted to be playable without TDH, so that you can play them on any BFME 1 game, or with other BFME 1 mods. The pack doesn't contain my Blue Mountains or Erebor maps however, as they require TDH to work properly.

Map List:
  • Iron Hills
  • Tower Hills
  • Desolation of Smaug
  • Eryn Vorn
  • Lond Daer Enedh
  • Withered Heath
  • Argonath
  • Havens of Umbar
  • Forlindon
  • Dol Guldur
  • Fornost
  • Dunland
  • Rivendell
  • Paths of the Dead
  • Grey Havens
  • Minhiriath
  • Lossarnach
  • Tharbad
  • Arnor
Each map has an authentic looking minimap, and loading image. Click the below images to view screens of each map.

All of these, bar Lond Daer Enedh, are the best maps I've ever seen. That's probably the most true thing I've ever said, coupled with me now saying that, in my opinion, you are the single best mapper I've yet seen. And I love your Paths of the Dead.

I forgot to tell you how amazing Paths of the Dead was.

That was a pretty cool map.
I didn't know you did Argonath as well.

Well, I look to your maps for the high standards. Your team's Dwarven Holds are truly inspirational.

epic maps! i love your erebor and blue mountain maps on TDH too! if you have the time, could you make a nice Khazad-dum map set in the second or early third age when it was still under dwarf control? that ould be awesome. i asked you because you're the best map-maker ever!

Hi. You've asked a lot around here for 'please do this for me', but you've got to prove yourself, so we can accept we wouldn't be just making stuff for some guy who hasn't got a clue what he's doing.

Please don't do that. Fell was just being insensitive. He does that a lot. (JK Fell) Just persevere. It gets easier, modding. Tell us your problems when you hit them, and we'll help you through them. Don't stop posting, please :)

Nah, you don't need to go so extreme. Learning how to mod, with a little time, isn't so difficult. I mean, even I did it! (You don't know me, but if you did, you'd know what I mean). Seriously, if you had specific questions on how to do the things you're requesting us to do, so you could actually do it yourself, wouldn't it be better for you? Not only would you have a little extra knowledge, who knows, you might even start up a mod that rocked Revora.  :p

And Bofur...  :ninja: I'm watching you...

Haha. and Thorin, we need people like you. Enthusiasm is the most important thing in modding. (As well as a bit of perseverance.)  Just give modding a try. Start small, and work your way up. You will improve.

It's possible your computer does not have enough RAM to support worldbuilder. I had the problem a long time ago, since I upgraded my RAM, it works like a charm.

I don't really have any time at the moment to be mapping at all i'm afraid, let alone for a request which i rarely do. I'm more than happy to give you advice/critique on your own work though - i did notice that Khazad-dum thread of yours, if you post some WIP screenshots i'd much rather help you learn yourself than i just do it all for you.

p.s. if you're finding WB keeps crashing and you can't upgrade your RAM as Kwen suggests, try saving more often. The longer you go between saves, the more WB has to process, and more often than not it'll crash when it has too much to autosave. Also, try and cut down on any other programs that you don't need running, as that will help speed things up.
