Reight then peeps, time to announce my attempt to bring necromunda to dawn of war.

your going to be playing a gang, which you need to nurture and grow, and get up to speed as mean killers.

We're trying to get the game as close to the book as possible, but given the limitations of my modding abilities, won't be that close!

anyhowz:

this mod is being developed in dc, but hopefully when its a bit more solid, will be all about ss

so, it will be played on custom maps only, provided by the excellent J-L.

the maps will contain all the buildings you need, so you have no builders in your gang.

you will have to get to the buildings as capture them, in order to use their advantages.

There are 3 resources:
Water - will cap your population. if your population exceeds your water resource (by losing water distilleries), your gang will lose health over time.
ammo - you can only gat ammo by exchanging credits for ammo
scrap - you gain scrap by owning mines/ slag tunnels(!) etc.
credits - buy guns, ammo, hire mercs, pay gang mambers.

you compete against other gangs, played by ai or a human (if you can find one), but are infringed by the nasty inhabitants of necromunda itself........

Just watched some gameplay vid you posted on RN, it looked really really good.

Cheers Shodar. i've got the gang members being all injured looking at 25% health, lobbing grenades (thanks jones) and all special/basic and heavy weapons aiming correctly.
i'm just working on a "dive for cover" ability.
