So this is basically a list of heroes that could be used and that need representation I complied based suggestions from various parts of the forums, from those in game already, and from those that I found. Some are very minor, some aren't. Hopefully there are some that people like, and some of the blanks can be filled in by others.

Do we have community members that do not come from an Anglo-Saxon culture? There are, literally, thousands upon thousands of actors/actress in the world, some of them could well fill the bill. It would be a great thing to add new faces to the mix, who knows we could even start a trend... :)

Skie, thats a pretty good list. couple places i have different opinions with, but still good choices. only thing you might want to do is clarify on the ages of the image for the actors, i.e. if you were to have say, Kirtan Loor in game, you might use a younger photo of Peter Cushing, as Loor was described in the novels as having a similar appearance to Tarkin.

as long as Uwe Boll isnt included, i'm fine with having foreign actors/actresses

I know he's a director, but apparently he might cameo in his own films, so it counts, so unless he's in the game as a very inept pirate with an unmodified Tug, yet still grants you 100,000 CR on destruction, I wouldnt want him anywhere near a game.

lol. I'm an uncultured American so I'm not going to be of much help in that regard. i would, however recommend looking into some of the cast from the 3 seasons of Strike Back. granted a lot of them are British, (although you do have an American playing the lead British character, and an Australian playing the lead American. not making this up) but in the show, the actors are very convincing for the most part.

there is one request i have

Sean Connery. gotta fit him in somewhere. doesn't matter at what age, with or without the hair piece, whatever. gotta throw him in

edit: I'm thinking that having some votes might not be a bad idea at some points for some of these characters where they might have multiple choices, or if a real life individual is used twice.

Uwe Boll

Didn't know the guy, so I went on Wikipedia, he seems to be a special individual... to say the least.

As I have free time I'll update it with better descriptions all around. Things like actor age/role the choice was inspired by, character ranks/homeworld/upgrades/ect. Also everyone please make suggestion and I can add them in, or feel free to edit the file yourselves. Excuse the messy in it lol

No, that'd be J.J. (Jar Jar) Abrams.

AKA the guy that loves to but star trek in his lens flare :p.

For later era stuff, you could add the solo kids, Tenel Ka, and various other Jedi as buildable minor heroes on Yavin IV.

Talon Karrde could also be added as a great rebel hero.

Hey Skie, I really like your list, although I wish you marked which characters are already in PR1.2.

I'd encourage anybody to participate in the casting, there are lots of PR heroes not yet cast.

Well I've read most if not all of the "Empire" and  "Rebellion" comic stories so I have some Ideas and there's a lot more in these stories but here are some ones that stand out that I didn't notice on the list -

Tungo Li -Rebel spymaster and captain of Rebel One

Janek Sunber - Imperial army officer

Wil Tarson - Rebel spy and foot soldier

Dantels - rebel transport and b-wing pilot

Dagger Squadron- elite early b-wing group

Deena Shan- Rebel supply officer turned commando

Basso- Rebel commando

Skywalker- Acclamator ship stolen  by Luke Skywalker

and from the other games it might be cool to have-

Harkov- Imperial admiral with VSD Protector

Zaarin - imperial admiral with ISD Glory(?)

Azzameen family - light transport group that generate income and stuff

Anyhow you wanted ideas so there's some, they also should have quality pictures in the Wookieepedia and XWA guide book, also I thought I had seen mention of Pash Cracken in that list. Didn't he bring a whole wing of tie fighters with him when he defected and they later upgraded to Awings? Just a unit idea for him...

Hate to burst your bubble, but apparently 1.3 removes hero capital ships.
I have an idea for the Azzameen family unit. 3 ships. 1 YT-1300 with 2 turreted quad lasers and advanced missiles. 1 Firespray with 2 swiveled dual lasers and normal torpedoes. 1 YT-2000 with 2 heavy dual laser turrets, 2 ion cannons, and heavy missiles. Unless anyone has issues with that setup.

Oh well maybe it can be sub-modded in later on, still some of those folks would make good heros. Thats pretty much the kind of thing I was thinking of fo the Azzameens also

Always good to have suggestions written down. Never know what the future might hold, or if anyone has ideas for personal use/submods

Your Azzameen family idea sounds good. it's unique which is a great thing I think.

yeah, I figured that since the Falcon is heavily modified, there's precedent, although I did have to take a while to work out the armaments and modify them somewhat.

this might actually be easier than going with the 'Stock/Canon' armaments,

Canon Armament for the Sabra is a Turreted (Medium) Laser, 1 Fixed (Medium) Laser and 2 Warhead Launchers

Otana has a pair of Turreted Dual (Medium) Lasers, 1 Fixed Medium Laser, 1 FIxed Medium Ion Cannon, and 2 Warhead Launchers

Andrasta only has the 2 Dual Lasers, but Emon seems like a massive hothead, so it seems logical that he's modified his ship with additional armaments. although probably not as extensively as Slave One. i want input for this one. see below

I can make the following assumptions. (SPOILER ALERT)

1. possibly as early as right after the end of the Kessel Station mission in X-wing Alliance, the Azzameen kids are pretty much on their own. Twin Suns Transport Services, is about to be resurrected. unfortunately, the Empire and what remains of Viraxo Industries are still out for Azzameen blood. and even if they weren't, whatever convoys Twin Suns can send need to be escorted. even more unfortunately, despite being staunch Rebel Allies, Twin Suns are not likely to receive Rebel Escort for their 'less important' or business-related shipments, because of the impending Battle of Endor, as well as the possibility that Endor might fail.

2. because of this, Twin Suns has to arm whatever ships they can to the teeth and provide escort themselves. this would explain why Aeron and Emon weren't at Endor with the Sabra, Otana, and/or Andrasta. they may very well have been refitted during Endor.

why these three ships? because they are lightweights compared to the rest of the Twin Suns Fleet when it comes to cargo capacity. filling their cargo holds with the extra armaments and systems is a small price to pay if it means that convoys are secured.

3. the Sabra and Otana are combat veterans. they have seen combat and at this point, their deficiencies are known, and now that Twin Suns has at least some of its shipyard assets back, these deficiencies can be addressed. Andrasta, being a Firespray-31, doesn't carry as much cargo than even the YT-1300 to begin with, favoring passenger space, is either heavily armed already, or can be turned into a poor-man's Blastboat. i have given her Torpedoes instead of Missiles for this reason. she still has a decent amount of gun-firepower, but I wanted her to be the Heavy Hitter in this group. and since she has more room to work with, I figured that Medium Torpedoes could be used as opposed to Light or even Advanced Light Torpedoes.

Tactics.

the Azzameen Flight Group is pretty much the rough equivalent of a Flight Group of late model YT-2000's. possibly 2, depending on how modified they end up being. Sabra and Otana can take care of almost any fighters while Andrasta can take on light Freighters without assistance. together, they can probably take on a low-grade corvette, having the equivalent of about 2 Heavy Turbolasers between the three ships.

Planet specific definitively. 10% Galaxy-wide - wow it's like they could carry 100 billion tons of spice or any other valuable commodity. ;)  Seriously tho - 10% would work only in the initial stages of the game with few planets. Later it will grant unfair income advantage to the Rebels. Just stack 100 transports over Muunlinst, build only mines there, keep AFG alive somewhere and swim in credits. I tried that with Muunlinst once. IIRC it was only 5% not 10% galaxy-wide but it spammed cash like mad. Well if you own the planet - nice, if enemy grab it - *running around in circles crying*.
