robert, They are supposed to be stopped by your men??? That do not make things unrealistic, that happen in original commandos 2?

Yes in original commandos 2 they also shoot you instantly, unless its a gestapo patrol then they take you prisoner if the map has a prison like in c1. But in destination paris when you play on medium or hard difficulties, the patrols do not shoot your men if you don't do anything suspicious, but on easy this feature isn't there, and on the paris mission in DP, the diver and driver spawn outside somewhere where they shortly get seen by a patrol, on medium and hard the patrols stop for them but on easy they instantly get shot unless you run off somewhere with them as quickly as you can but you will take a few hits still which is impossible to avoid

Its normal, in some missions the autoshoot dont work, is for make the missions harder

Ok, that is good in multiple player mode. In contrast, it's extremely hard for single player mode when a commando is being chased by swarm of enemies and the other commandos cannot auto shoot.

I took a look at this website and there is some cool stuff here.. A weapon pack for C2 and also mirrored BEL maps.
Can these mirrored BEL maps be used a a second view in C2?

Regarding converted BEL and BTCOD missions, as you are aware the alarm tends to make the game crash making some missions impossible to complete where you need alarm to finish.

 

A possible solution:

Maybe try and make the garrisons a random interior from C2 so they run out from there instead, and block it off for the commandos to pass through so it still feels like C1. Although I am not 100% sure how it is set up currently. So if it is like that currently then my bad

In 2D maps the game crash always that one commando become hurt and you are not watching it. The alarm dont crash the game, the problem is that when they raise alarm enemies come in the map, and if you are neglected they kill you.

 

Yes, there are a hidden map with patrolls in 2d maps, with the event of the alarm they exit and appear in the door of the garrison

Im trying to create a trailer of destination paris for announce the definitive patch in youtube. Anybody know a program for create good tittles in videos? I usually work with windows movie maker but these tittles and credtis are really ugly, anyone can help me?

You should check for some one like Sony Vegas, or Camtasia Studio, but you will need to learn how to use those...

Hey everybody! Is there any news about SINP10??

So i got a litlle problem with the updates

 

1. The first 3 missions dont work, 1st opens but you only have GB and cant do anything, the other 2 transports you to menu

2. I cant acces any missions that were includet in the updates, like the BEL ones

3. the game is in france and i dont understand a thing

 

The main problem here is that i dont have acces to the original game, the online purchase option is out off my reach and the stores in my country dont have the game (its sad realy) 

 

I got the original game years ago but the CD got destroyed (litlle fire accident at home)

I really like this game and i dont wanna lose it again (i got my curent game from a friend over skyp)

 

Any sugestions?

You have to have the original game to play Destination Paris. Maybe (you did not hear this from me ) you can download an illegal version.

Some queries before I re-install & Jump in:

1) Will previous Saves work with this official version ? If so, then how do I recover my save files before uninstalling the current version ?

2) All bugs fixed ?

3) I actually never made my way to the fan made missions before.... Do the fan made missions have voices/cinematics/cutscenes or they are just like regular C2 bonus missions ?

4) Installation instructions updated or as before ?
