The randomness in this thread made me wonder if it wasn't easier to call Morales just Boris when on the name was decided back then, especially if we take his current name into account (it is a wonder I haven't seen any puns about that yet)

No, Morales is a homage. Because you know guys, only Speed can add in main homages and die anything resemblence not by him.
Ofcourse noone understands the point of Morales. He's some kind of silly guy from a noname Pole movie.
