I'll post up some of my map screens and I want to get your opinions on them.
Click for full size view.

The main thing I'm looking at is atmosphere since it's something I've been working on a lot in recent months.

Both of those maps are really close to what Tolikien descibed them . They have that unique feeling that makes you want to explore them , to discover ruins and economic plots . I have always thought BFME's maps were not very colorful , just barren and cold . But here , your maps are very well detailed and each of them is technically attracting and realistic .

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.[1]

Well that is what you've got to do when mapping, make it explorable, so that on later games on the map you can find something new. You know you've succeeded when people play the map for reasons other than to make war.

What will matter then will be people. If relationships will matter most then, shouldn't they matter most now? - Max Lucado
