Having conversed and agreed with Pasidon, I'd like to show you guys at Revora what we've come up with for T-shirts promoting Revora, and we'd like to know which shirt design you guys like most. Below are the options, and click each for a larger 1000x1000 image:

Definately 3. But I don't really get the design at all, doesn't seem Revora related besides the wording and logo. Surely just like a white t-shirt with the Revora logo would be nicer and more provocative.

We could do a 3rd age shirt, or a picture of Duke's face, but that's a pretty narrow field. We'll do prints of a generic Revora shirt and decide stuff like that later.

Third design is the only one that isn't showing obvious photoshop filters/two-click effects, so I'd go with that. What is the reasoning behind the design though? How will this look on a shirt? I suggest getting a picture of a black shirt laid out and putting your designs on there so we can see how it relates to the shape of the product.

Actually, no filters or effects have been used on them whatsoever, apart from the 3D text. I'll get a shirt-backed picture to show you. And for the reasoning, best ask Pasidon.

EDIT: here's your shirty one.

I think it looks weird. The "crest" is near the abdomen, below the sleeves, and the eye is led to it immediately from the line starting at the top. I think a t-shirt works better when the focus is around the chest area, winding down as it moves downwards. Right now the design resembles the shape of the shirt, except upside down. I don't think that's good, conscious design.

Reading downwards on people's clothes always make me feel like staring, so I don't. I like the design, but for promoting Revora I don't see it as a good choice.

I'm trying not to state any opinions since I'm trying to gather what people prefer. But sod that since all I'm hearing is complaining.

When I first came up with the design, I kept in mind what I would wear as a t-shirt since I don't wear designs or logos. What we have right now from the choices, I'm starting to find myself feeling that they're not exactly up to par either. Then again, I started figuring that we're all probably expecting the same thing... something we immediately see and expect something gawdly gorgeous. The problem I see with many drawing board ideas is that most people generally are expecting way too much. I probably am as well. Let's do this for now... answer this question: Would you wear it? And with that question in mind, pick what design would seem like the best 'yes' answer for you.

Also, that does leave room to say 'no' to all of them and come up with a design yourself. A strictly 'Revora' themed original design without much influence from a particular division.

I wrote my criticisms so that we could initiate a design process. Crossing things off and adding things etc. I'll see about kitbashing something that works better on a shirt shape from your third design sometime this weekend.

Edit: to clarify: I like the colors and the shapes and the general design. Just not the way it's laid out on a shirt.

Yea, a design and how it would fit onto a shirt would be best. How Felly did the scale on that shirt isn't what I had in mind, but I actually liked it since it was big and stompy. And if you think about it... lots of people who wear t-shirts also wear jackets and other silly things over them. If we have our main visuals right down the center, they can be displayed with jackets if they're opened. That's just smart designing.

Very smart designing, what with going into the winter months and all.

I think I made some alternative leaves from a 3d-model. Can't find the raws right now though. I think cleaning up the lines on the leaves would be a big step up.

Found the time to click the search-box, search t-shirt and find the other thread about t-shirts, where I posted this rar-file with the stuff I've made.

Also, its hard to be a creative person if you react like that every time someone comes with feedback :p. I like the design ideas but I thought the branches needed some work, then and now. I give you an 80% :)

I like number three of yours best, Duke, the thinner ones reduce the 'royal' feeling.
