Will Mental Omega be Compatible with the Ultimate Edition? Will this be in 3.0? Thanks!

Can't say anything about 3.0 compatibility, but I doubt there would be any issues. 2.0, on other hand...

The problem is that you cannot install NPatch, required by the most recent versions of Mental Omega 2.0 if you are running C&C Ultimate Collection version of Yuri's Revenge. This is because the game executable has been tweaked to allow running it with no disc required, and NPatch can only be installed if the game executable is mostly untouched.

Not to encourage piracy or something, but I remember a no-cd NPatch gamemd.exe is out there. In this case it wouldn't be piracy though..

Only if you go and install the unofficial patch 1.03 which also includes no-CD. VK actually added compatibility for vanilla TFD YR executable to NPatch I think.

Well... that seens to be the same situation with Ares. I beleave that it works with no-cds.

Ares has a no-cd option, via the -CD parameter.

NPatch doesn't, that's why I am referring to a no-cd version of it.

The thing is that it does not recognize the game, I think. I get error messages like "game not found" and such.

I ran what is above and nothing happened.... maybe it only works for the first decade?
