Well when i played it solved problems in the defense especially since they just ran in and f'd up shit in the non pikes but i also plan to make the knights more powerful being the only cav for gondor and limited i don't really have a taste for dol amroth's (they might test my Rohirrim )

Not sure if cavalry defenders really make a whole lot of sense...
Maybe just for Rohan? Would help to give em something unique.

Thanks, and yea I guess i really only had it in mind for elves (being a gentle race and all...) and rohan ,gondor was a test though i think later on the knights might prove to powerful especially in early game they have a better crush and everything now but i'll think i'll limit their battalions soon
