Game modes are a new feature being added to LWR that will allow for greater gameplay options for players.
Game modes vary in size, scope and aims ranging from silly additions like BOOM! to larger game modes like Onslaught.

Players will be able to choose Game Modes from the LWR launcher they'll be able to unlock various new Game Modes by use of passwords some will be public others will be secret.

Just was thinking about any gamemode and i think its not so big gamemode but you can add new AI Very hard so it we players can choose from Easy,Medium,Hard and Very hard or you can make gamemode that makes every AI more hard to defeat just like in Elven alliance.
Its not much but atleast i have written something. :p

There will be no Easy, Medium and Hard AIs when I'm finished I'll be implementing the AI styles instead.

It will be Rush, Turtle and Balanced and hopefully when it's all finished the AI should be tougher.

I was thinking and realise that AI is hard now just needs using upgrades, every unit, heroes and their spells, powers but main are upgrades and of course this is important you can make little gamemode that can make AI get more resources from farms in elven alliance they have from farms 2x more than we players and they are really good their army is almost unstoppable with upgrades and because they have lots of resources they are making army the whole game so easily said make gamemode where AI will ger more resources from farms 2-3x more than players .=) I will try think about other gamemode than only about AI.

That's kind of a cheap way of improving the AI.

It's not really improving the army so much as stacking the deck.

I want to actually make the AI smarter and maybe less wave and zerg style and instead add some micro to them.

Just want to ask how much you want kame AI smarter,do you know how hard is AI in Elven Alliance:Community edition 1.2? If yes will it be harder in Lone wolf?I just need to know because its challenging and fun try to defeat hard AI or even try to fight with AI that is using catapults, powers, upgrades attacking on places where i have less defence using abilites with heroes and using everyunit not just one type of archers and soldiers.

I think Rad just wants to make the AI harder in a way that it starts weak and ends strong, like the player does. Not sure though.

The plan is to have 3 distinct AI styles reflecting their names and for the AI to function more like a player would.

For instance a Gondor Rush AI will use the same strategies that a lot of good players use, and maybe some new ones.

Getting to that point however won't be easy and will probably involve some rewriting of the AI but for now that's off in the future there's plenty of other work to do first.
