I like the green terrain, but the rocky stuff up in the corner is... bleh.
Can you get closer screens and... erm... more information?

Going for a more accurate dol guldur?
Hard to say what looks good or bad. I assume the grassy section is orignal BFME 2, I think youll need more rooty looking textures to mix with the rock and cliffs.
I cant suggest without really knowing your intentions.

Nice work. I swear I hate doing rivendell. Im also convinced things changed from FOTR to the later films in the trilogy.

Campaign map then!
I am also sure they changed/added more things to Rivendell. But here is some information I have gathered so far about it:
From the WETA Art & Design book: "It is a different time and a different season." "Elves are still enjoying their Midsummer."
In regards to the new buildings, we also see it from a new angle, and quite possibly, the elves have deconstructed some of their buildings when they weren't in use anymore - like the Council Chamber perhaps.
An interesting fact is that the designers considered a falconry for Elrond's hunting hawks.

I think your map could be playable, very easily. Ive always imagined the valley to be full of paths and walkways that lead to the actual house of Elrond. I thnk itd be possible to put the players build areas along the paths and the citadel be the actual house. The attackers could have a start area with mnay pathways that meander down and into the valley.
