Oh sweet sticky-cakes and pavlova! ;D This is fantastic. All I recognise is the Catapult (which I played), and the Grasshopper (which kept on wipping my butt until I made my own Clan 'Mech with two PPCs, both attached to Targeting computers and advanced jump jets, oh those were the best games). ;p

 

I could perhaps create a logo?

Hmm..Those trees and huts could use some more work... I dunno if it's your graphics that are set too low.

But I guess the scale is nice, although the mechs could be a little bit smaller, like... hmm... 0.2

Top-down wouldn't be a good idea.  For a mech game, I like seeing the full presentation of the mechs stomping around.

 

But yea, on the topic of the trees, I think they look underwhelming since those horribly colored mechs are next to them.  Work on the textures for them.

It's low poly, Pas. Although you could actually use some more pollys in the models in general Diggyy.

You could also reuse the old WOTG logos for Clans for Battle Grid.

Can't wait to see it finished. How are you planning to do the details? Do/Bake greebles as normal map or just create a 2d texture?
