Yes, they're quite nice, though you could do with more highlight and shadow in their dress to get rid of the plastic-effect. Not ridiculously so, but enough so it looks like worn material.

Also, maybe, make larger chainmail links, true, it'd be a tad less size-realistic, but enough to be able to see what it actually is.

A new member has joined my team, Dark Lord, who has some amazing skins, which I shall show in-game later.
RoR is also now helping me out with coding.

I have some new skins from Dark Lord to show you today:

Some Dwarven Spearmen, with very long beards, and a Dwarven Banner Carrier: Note the new banner! 

 

Some Guardians (Including the odd veteran, by the looks of it!)

 

A battalion of Axe-Throwers, at the ready!

 

A Catapult, which is, as usual, "Ready for War!"

 

And finally, some allied men, with Swords, Shields and Bows!

It all looks great ! Except for 1 thing, the belt and some of the padding armor from the old Men of Dale skin is still in the new skin so I'd suggest fixing that .

A stone catapult? For when is that good? And are two dwarves really enough to push and operate it?

 

And can someone remind me on the materials used in vanilla? I don't recall

It's stone in the vanilla too, I think.
Perhaps the Dwarves are hench? I'll pass these comments on to Dark Lord.

And also, just wondering, how am I doing in regards to hosting, is there anything specific that needs attention? Or just more of the same?

Bofur, is the SVN updated with the new textures ? I can fix the Men of Dale problem easily . And if you're looking for way to pop some eyes around here I have some Ideas we can work on as well .

The only thing I'm waiting on is word from the original creator (Elrond99 right?).

Just a simple PM from him to me saying he's transferred control to you will do.

Once I get that we can start the super secret blood rituals that make up the hosting process.

I'll invite you to our original PM if you like, and I'd like the forums set up like TEA:CE's, with the original in a sub forum.
The annoying thing is that he hasn't been on in months, so I hope that'll do.

I've moved Age of the Firstborn back to the Hostees section and set you up as moderator.

I also renamed the subforum it's easier than setting it up like TEACE that and TEA:CE was set up like that because Cel didn't give permission.
