Hello Everyone it gives me great pleasure today to announce release my latest map "Fangorn Forest-Again."

The map follows two quests that of Merry and Pippin through Fangorn forest, and the other of Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli (The three hunters) following the hobbit's trail.

Merry and Pippin's segment in the level is rather short but important none the less. They must defend themselves against Fangorn's dangerous inhabitants whilst trying to reach the safety of the Entmoot.

The three hunters segment is far longer and more perilous. They must carefully search the thick forest for their companions but due to Isenguard's ever growing demand for resources many traps and dangers now lie deep in the heart of Fangorn, nevertheless they have to continue to save their friends.

Here's a selection of screenshots not revealing anything important.

The map is available to download on the 3rd age (I would've uploaded it here but the file was too big  :p).

Thanks to everyone who helped me with the various problems I encountered on this one, especially Lauri with the tree thing and MattTheLegoman who tested the map.

Right I've been fine tuning the map today meaning it's ready for release but it's already late over here and I want to ask once more for any willing testers, if there's no volunteers (which I would understand) I'll release it tomorrow.

Here's another screenshot just because this post was a little boring.

I'll test it! :) I am mostly on BfMEII but I would like to try this out, I'll just get the disk from my bookcase now. ;p

It looks like it is going to be a beautiful map.

Well as long as you can play it on Saturday as that would allow me to release it on Sunday, after which I get very busy.

The map's been released, read the top post I've edited it and stuck in all the waffle about it.

I can't believe I've forgotten how to do this.  So if I put the map in the maps folder in bfme1, but it's not showing up under player-made maps in the skirmish menu, how do I fix that?

With bfme1 folder I hope you mean the "my battle for middle-earth files" folder
Here is the directory path %appdata%\My Battle for Middle-earth Files\Maps

Yeah, no, I know where it goes.  It's in the maps folder with the map cache and everything, it's just not showing up in game.

No worries  :p , Devon it could be the mapcache that's put it in official maps or the "isScenarioMP = no" was changed to yes.

Hey just thought I'd mention that I've uploaded the 3 player Co-Op version of this map for those who are interested although it hasn't been fully tested as it is very difficult to wrangle up three computers and three volunteers for an hour or so. As I'm sure you know expect reviews and bug reports are very handy, but I'm not expecting much of a response as I doubt many people have three friends who all have BFME 1. If you've got any questions you can post something here or PM me, thanks.

Okay I've been playing this online through Gameranger and have discovered a couple of quite important bugs, the main one being that the level never ends. I'm correcting it with a new updated version on my download page on the 3rd age which I'll upload at some point tomorrow.
