Ive always had this feeling that how different languages that influence our world today and how were they formed like that besides english (U.S. and U.K.) was born (like Russian or Chiense) anyone have any thoughts or theories on this? its been keeping me up at night just thinking about it

Supposedly one of the oldest languages still in use is Sanskrit and is a possible common origin for a lot of the world's language.

And you know there's more than 2 English languages right?

Should contain most of the common theories and speculation. There are methods for 'determining' shared heritage between languages. There is a comparative method that is used to find similarities in words that usually change the least (words to describe 'home', 'mother', 'father', et cetera) and use these similarities to trace languages back to different shared language groups (usually these groups share a common geographical heritage). 

 

This is a widely researched field. I don't think there are many linguists on here, so I'm not sure if you'll get much of a 'debate', but if this stuff interests you there is a great deal of information you can read.

Yea, modern human language originates from where agriculture and domestication originates from... the Middle-East.  No coincidence.  But when you use the term' language', that could refer to the act of communication itself, like a roughed grouse stomping on a log, or a dog barking.  Where the heck did they originate from?  Well that's easy... from a cell itself binding to proteins to communicate, and all that scientific nonsense.  So if you want the origin of language, pull out a microscope.
