Hi guys, I'm new to modding (Just learned it a week ago). I don't know what's the problem with the Gondor archer because it only attack enemy unit but it  ignores structures. When I put the cursor to any enemy structure it doesn't show the attack icon. I did not  modify the codes for Gondor archer.

Do I need to add something on their weaponset so it will attack structure also? Been solving this issue but I can't figure it out. I already compared it to goblin archer and noldor warrior but I don't what's wrong.

Is this a worldbuilder problem or a coding problem? If it's worldbuilder, the structure's probably just set to the wrong team.

Sorry I posted this question to the wrong category, it's my mistake because of searching a possible answer to my problem. This question supposed to be under Battle for Middle Earth 1/2 modding. I did not notice that I'm currently on the World Builder section, sorry guys. There is no option to delete this topic so I can transfer it to the right section.

Moved to Battle for Middle-Earth 2 & The Rise of the Witch-King Modding, at a guess, as you didn't clarify the game.

Well, in BFME2, archers doesn't attack structures at their own. You have to click them, then order them to attack the structure. However, if you cannot even do that, I don't know what might be wrong..

Are you playing on any sort of custom map? It's possible it has a map.ini file that edits the Archer's weapon.

Or maybe, just to go out of the loop, maybe the armor set on the structure is set to 0% pierce ;)

check your weaponset. make sure their names (GondorArcherBow and GondorArcherBowMelee) match sections in your weapon.ini "Weapon GondorArcherBow", "Weapon GondorArcherBowMelee".
