I now have two PCs (1 desktop & 1 laptop) and both have beta 4.5 of this excellent mod on them. I had an idea when going through my morning routine:

Why not replace the Moria faction in my copy of the mod with a second "Humans" faction, but have it encompass all of the Easterling & Haradrim characters as known in Tolkien's original novels and in the Games Workshop hobby?

And then whenever Beta 4.7 comes out, whatever 25-month increment that is (jk, I'll keep waiting patiently  :thumbsupsmiley: ), I am looking to split the "Men" faction into an independent "Gondor" & an independent "Rohan" while replacing "Moria" with "Harad" and converting "EvilMen" into a purely-Easterling-filled "Rhun" faction (because I read elsewhere that beta 4.7 is going to be a Rise of the Witch King mod, and I know form other reading that RotWK can give bug-free support to up to eight factions)

My unofficial mod-modding program I am titling "Kingdoms of Men", in glorification of the recent Games Workshop Source-books.

Should I do it or should I just let my copy of each mod be as is and have "KIngdoms of Men" be my own independent mod for the unmodified retail version of the game?

Special Extended Edition - Directors Cut is what Nazgul and the team are working on now. ;p

It is a new start, but it will have the features of 4.7. Make sure you read the information that Nazgul has put out regarding the progress

Also, I am sure that SEE-DC will have Rhun and Harad as separate factions (little work has been done on them however, Moria is nearing total completion)

Yes, B4.7 is cancelled. DC is the new version, that basically ARE 4.7 but from scratch. You may do whatever you want, as long as you mod it unofficially. You can NEVER release it as an open mod as the community would slaughter both you and the mod ;) But for personal use, you can mod however you like off course. Rhûn and Harad will be separate factions in SEE DC, and most assets are ready to go - it's merely a matter of coding them in.

Would anyone be confused if I made a mod for the unaltered retail version of the game that replaces Goblins faction with Haradrim/Easterling faction? Because I had a mod in mind for the vanilla game, Titled "The World Of Men" that does primarily that.

The In Rise of the Witch-King (again, the unaltered vanilla retail version) I seek to do the independent Gondor, Rohan, Haradwaith, and Rhun factions there instead of doing it in a previously-modded version
