Ok, so.... my plan was to do LOADS of concept art for Revora Racer, present it to kickstarter and try and hire people with the funds raised, especially since no one here really wanted to work on it.  After a long time of thinking... nope.  I don't have time for that much work, and that's not really a stable method of presenting a kickstarter.  We need more people willing to work.  And no one but me worked a single day this summer, and if we're not working during a summer, then there is no way you guys will have the time or motivation to work on something this big the rest of the year, to be horribly honest.

So yea.... I really want to work on something.  I really do. But there's no chance I'm working alone.  If we just scrap the entire idea and think of something much simpler (something preferably not even 3D), is that viable for people to work?  Look... if we mock up an idea, get about 5% progress done with it at least, making it presentable to the public, we can kickstart it and actually make money before the project is even done.  Does that not sound encouraging?

Nah, it depends on the people involved. Wasn't someone (Radspakr?) making a sidescrolling engine. That might be a good place to start and fairly simple game to make. You can always create cruddy little pixel drawings, at least for the early versions.

Because we could make thousands of dollars doing something simple, yet creative.

Well Pasi, at the end of the day, projects only go forward if the original idea person is leading and pulling everyone together

If you really would like to do something, Ask around.

You could help me out with BattleGrid. Its all about what do you want to do and what can you do

if you like writing, maybe you and me can sit down and do some campaigns and some major story arc, I don't have one atm.
my current plot is "Kill the aliens"

EDIT: if you do join, you'd make a few moneyz too as I plan to sell this game
(revora members get a free copy)

Yea, I can always help you with it.  No other idea is going to work.
