Onto an very brief explanation. It's the first pieces to start off my A-Level art project, which basically concerns 'different' people, how they cope with life and how they are perceived by others. This will concern at the very least radiation-afflicted people, war-scarred victims, abusive relationships and the LGBTQI communities. In no particular order.

They're all of the above made entirely on zBrush, in terms of from-scratch sculpting, painting, adding and manipulation of hair, rendering, and then after-effects were added in PhotoShop.

Probably not.

Soooo... this is art appealing to and featuring mutilated transgender war victims?  Look... I'm old.  I was old when this world was young.  And I've never seen anything so bizarre.  That's probably a good thing... I never know.

Um, nope to both. Ellie (Elric), none of them are directly based on one person. Why, who do you think it is?

And Pas... no. It isn't meant to be appealing to anyone, nor is it based on their being who they are. The purpose of the pieces are to get the reaction of 'oh God, what is that thing?' or to make viewers try to avoid them or pass them off for what they are at face value, as they're just representations. But people who survive oppression, war, irradiation, abuse, self-deprecation and prejudices have to live with their scars, even the ones which aren't visible, and they will be perceived as freaks, something to avoid or fear to look at or be with.

As is the case with Adalia Rose, I think can be said; she is not beautiful in a conventional sense, and we could pretty much say the people who have said she is beautiful have given her a very skewed sense of their perceptions. They don't care, and if they met her in person, I'm sure there would be a metre's perpetual distance. And in some families, a child like that would be killed upon birth, considered a freak in even their inception. They don't care about feelings, they don't care about real love for each other, it's entirely based upon perceptions. And that is the case with unhealing wounds, which is a given area to avoid staring at, but their bearers must wear that for all to see.

And transgenders must bear the hatred of those that do not understand, and the bruises and knives of those who refuse to, particularly as is well-known in Russia. And those who have no sense of self-worth, who may go without eating simply out of lacking purpose, and must bear their own conscience as well as the prying eyes of family and society, neither of which will quite understand or believe it until something is done. It's a shame that something is so often suicide.

This reminds me of Orlan, she was an interesting artist to study in year 12 art.
