No idea why that would happen really, try using 'Add/remove programs' instead?

The same problem occurs

 

btw the problem with the mod is that when i click to play the game (from the launcher) nothing at all happens. Nothing loads up, yet no errors are shown.

Do you have a syringe.log in your RA2 folder? Upload it if yes.

I went into my red alert 2 folder and searched for syringe. I got one text document and another application. When i double clicked the application it told me to run a syringe control file

He said syringe.log. That's the "text document".

I have an error its says "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click OK to terminate the application" and i'm using the copy of Yuri revenges on the ultimate collection edition

how do I fix this?

I got the mod to load up but now everytime i start a skirmish or campaign the game has a fatal error. heres the current syringe now

now when i go to uninstall, it says, "invalid uninstall control file: uninstall.xml"

Do you have any other modfiles in your MO folder?

If that was a response to me then...no i do not.

 

When i first installed the mod, it worked perfectly. It all went wrong (i think) when i clicked on, "Play on CnCNet" and then some crap about the wsock.dll file came up. I deleted the wsock file, but now I am having my current issues

One of the SHPs is corrupted. That is certainly not caused by CnCNet button.

Hey there guys,

I've been following this mod forever, but unfortunately I don't have Windows (or Mac btw) at the time, but I do have Xubuntu (Linux).

 

Basically the situation is:

I know my Linux system can run the game because I can run Red Alert 2, and Yuri's Revenge without problem.

 

The problem I have is with the Mental Omega Launcher, which upon clicking "Launch Mental Omega", I get this:

 

Since I know the game CAN play with ease, the problem lies in executing Syringe.  Could you give me a manual way to run Syringe..  Because it is appropriate, here is the log, which is quite brief.

Huh... which version of Xubuntu is this? The command seems fine. IIRC last versions of Wine (the 1.7 branch, not the 1.6 branch featured in LTS versions) can run Syringe as intended... on a second thought we made a Syringe update since that last check... gotta experiment on my Kubuntu later with this, I guess.

I think the last wine1.7 from https://launchpad.ne...ne/ archive/ppa has the most chance to run Syringe.

Try removing the wsock32.dll file from the installation directory and restart the mod launcher.

when i open the mental omega launcher.. it will black screen and a window will appear.. "failed to initialize please reinstall the game" im currently running windows 7 home basic

the mental omega 3.0 sir.. ive tried reinstalling it and redownloading the installer.. it didnt work..
