Hello, I have a problem with the online version, I can no longer party skirmish, 5 min after the start it blocks everything and said:

Microsoft visual C++ Runtime library

Program: ... A GAMES\La Bataille pour la terre du milieu™\game.dat

This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.

If your windows is 64-bit install both of these if not just install the x86 one.

I suggest you to play 1.05 on the server. (without any additional mods)
It takes too many steps to get the regular game properly working online on its own... By adding mods into the mix you add so many more layers of steps/problems then really necessary...

Stick with the regular game to play online (re-install your game if the mods messed it up too much).
Be thankful and mark my initial solution as "mark solved" for the sake of your initial question.

It should be easy to play mods if the mods do not interfere with the program folder and only install to the appdata/roaming/my battle for middle-earth folder.

Right, and I'm pretty sure Elvenstar does interfere. They didn't use the -mod command, did they?

No, they didn't use -mod command. Ironically, the only way to play mods through gameranger was without -mod command :p

Never had problems with any mod that was installed directly in the BFME folder, I don't know about the online edition though.
