Name: Lightning Tower
Cost: $1000-$1200

Power: -75

Prerequisite: Soviet Barracks

Purpose: Anti-Air Defense

Hit Points: 1000

Equipment: Defensive Structure, Replaces Flak Cannon for Russia

When testing for a weapon or device to "absorb" the strikes from a Thor Gunship, the Russians found by charging up one of the prototype Lightning Towers that it would go haywire and strike any aircraft that came near with a bolt of its own! Though this meant the Thors could still fly unchallenged by Wolfhounds, they could no longer threaten Russian bases.

Although the Flak Cannon's ability to hit multiple targets due to its flak rounds was an excellent thing, the faster firing rate and the fact it hits almost as hard as a Tesla Cruiser made it a much more favorable defense option for the Russians. However, given this is a new Tesla based prototype, it eats up power to a similar degree to a Tesla Coil, and is more expensive than the average Flak Cannon.

Yay! Make Russia even more OP! :D

Also, Russia already have an answer for Thors: Tsivils

Not quite, especially on the receiving end of a Thor-Rush. If the foe has enough Thors to annihilate a Miner in minutes, then no amount of Tsivils will assist you.

Also, Russia was stated as having an empasis on Tesla weaponry... and only one non-universal Tesla unit...

Also, technically the Wolfhound IS designed to be the advanced Anti-Air of the Russians on the balancing, but it is futile in comparison to the Thor.

Thors are T3 and quite expensive - why do you make it possible that enemy masses Thors like crazy?

==Super-cavitation==

Purpose: Speeds up underwater units by 40% at the cost of 150 HP in a 3x3 area.

Time: 5:00

Support power available to all Soviet subfactions

Requires:Soviet Tech Labs

Cost: $800

==Sonoluminescence Drone==

Support power unique to USA

Requires: Mercury Uplink, Strategy Center, Shipyard

Purpose: Summons an amphibious automated drone that causes a surrounding itself in a liquid free zones in bubbles (cavitation) made out of argon with it. When close to enemy it activates it sulfuric acid pods to cause the argon bubbles to under go a transition in to hot plasma consisting of sulfur monoxide, ionized dioxide, atomic argon and dioxygenyl cations that reach temperatures of 20,000 degrees kelvin in core. The Americans found a way to release that potent energy by firing reserve energies from the Mercury Uplink to release core energies outward to enemy units heavily damaging heavy units on land an sea.

Time:7:00

Cost: 1000

Because that's the way people play! And besides, just because it's expensive doesn't mean a faction won't in story mass it heavily (see: Apocalypse Tanks in Red Alert 2 campaign. Once they're introduced in the Allied campaign, enemy Soviet forces rarely use Rhino Tanks).

Also, massing up Thors is as easy as massing up Wolfhounds, plus it's easier for Allies to tech up thanks to the fact Chrono Miners only spend about 75% of the time War Miners and Ghost Miners.

Hmm but what's the point massing up thors against Russia when it's easy to overwhelm and outnumber them with Russia's cheaper Tsivils (of course with a little bit microing, otherwise the Tsivils would be annihilated in seconds)

How about a cryo legionnaire for PF, has cryo blaster instead of chrono one. It should be able to teleport. It can slow units and assasinate infantry behind front line.

A decent siege unit when massed, Cant target aircraft unlike the bliz tank.

Cost: 1500

T3 unit.

Rate of fire should be like the bliz tanks.

People tend to surround certain buildings such as a construction yard, battle lab/tech center or SWs to stop most possible threats from the opponent.

If you're having matches with a decent player, spies seldom work on him as he takes care of what you're doing frequently.

Hey how about adding more unique infantry units for the Allied Subfactions? Like better version of SEAL and/or Rocketeers for PF, or a better version of Chrono Legionnaire for EA, maybe...

Bring back Chrono Commando's for the PF... Sure they can't swim but they can teleport and with how nerfed SEALs are now...

Ding dong! :D

For the Pacific Front Navy SEAL that I've mentioned earlier I suggest the Kaijo Heishi

Name: Kaijo Heishi
Cost: $650-$1000
Hitpoints: 85-90
Speed: 7-9
Armor Class: Flak
Prerequisite: Allied Barracks, Air Force Command HQ
Purpose: Anti-Infantry, Long Range Support
Equipment: XM8 Prototype Assault Rifle, Target Painter(For Zephyr Artillery)
Range: 6.5(SMG)/10-11(Target Painter)

This unit replaces the Navy SEAL for the Pacific Front.

The Kaijo Jietai Heishi or Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force Trooper is the premier Special Ops force for the  Pacific Front, and are the counterparts of the SAS Commandos and Navy SEALS of the Euro Alliance and United States respectively.  Little is known about them except they are well known for being the most agile Special Ops force, quickly finishing classified PF missions in record time.  With the PF being a part of the Allied Nations, they are given access to use the prototype XM8 Rifle developed by US and EA military scientists, and the KH troopers delivered thanks to the Rifle's special properties(lightweight, advanced targeting, all-terrain) and KH agility training.  The only drawback is that they are substantially weaker in terms of armor than the SEALS and SAS Commandos, due to the fact they use lighter flak armor.  In case of emergency purpose long range bombardment, they possess a target painter attached to the XM8 and when aimed at an armored unit or structure,  it increases the range(by 3-4) and firepower(by 10%) of a nearby Zephyr Artillery.   Upon death of a KH Trooper, nearby units gain an improved morale for 30 seconds, raising firepower and speed by 25%.

Additional Information

  • Amphibious
  • Can detect cloaked and submerged units (sensors range: 7).
  • Upon death, increases firepower and speed of nearby units by 25% for 30 seconds
  • Increases range of nearby Zephyr Artilleries by 3-4 with the use of Target Painter

I prefer the Kaijo Heishi idea, though... Since those chrono-related things are more suitable for EA, and PF's forces should be better in amphibious warfare, i think...

But, really... Allied Subfactions need more unique infantry and naval units...

Havoc Rocketeers: Armed with both miniguns and missile lauinchers. Effective against everything except buildings.

Tactical Marine: Armed with a submachinegun and can deploy to use siege mortar. Amphibious. Replace SEAL.

Scorch Earth Support Power: Create a firewall at a designated area. Any thing that cross it will take damage and it can't be destroyed, but will disappear after 5 minutes.

Keep it simple everyone.

The only problem with the Kaito Hayabusa Musashi thingies is their names are too long.

Also your idea for a weapon seems impossible.  If anything I guess they could have a weapon that can also abuse the Beacons...
