"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

The new maps make my screen resolution smaller. It still says 1680 1050 in options.ini but I only see like half of the castle at the start. Widescreen version. Help?

edit: It's unplayable the way it is. My participation in the tourney rests on the quick solution of this problem.

We will take a look at this.

Would you be able to provide a screenshot?

//edit, here is what the widescreen looks like for me: http://i.imgur.com/yislpmJ.png

and here without widescreen http://i.imgur.com/ZPvcA3R.png

Did you only try one map, or is it the same on all of these maps? And if you could add screenshots, that'd be good :)

The border is very close on that one, if needs be the map could be shifted upwards.

Sorry can't get SS atm but it looks nothing like the pic you posted. It's at least twice as much zoomed in. Same goes for all maps.

Edit: In all my brilliance I had downloaded the wrong version of the maps. Problem solved, carry on.

How long does this last? I've had this in the past and it always disappeared after waiting long enough (sometimes 2+ minutes!).

Do you want to play with smaller zoom-out?

Try the non-widescreen version of the maps.

--> http://forums.revora...ment-and-rules/

see 'how to install the new maps'

Thanks for posting. Are you still getting this error?
