The first 10 minutes of the video is all you need to see, the rest is just me ranting about it and a few other things that are of no real concern about this subject

 

I want you to know, that I actually, in between streams, as I was trying to set up a new game, saw Urobutcher change his name into zlixine. Now it happened so fast and he denied it, that eventually I actually started to doubt myself and let it all happen.

 

also, as you see, I start the stream as Mr.Metalhead in the lobby. This is the very first, back in the days that Dial Up internet was the standard , internet nickname I made up for myself. And in the years following, I made a few more. So seeing any of those names in the lobby, I will ask questions.

During the video, after Urobutcher reveals himself as the douchebag he is, I revealed myself and yes, he calls me out on it. But at least I'm not impersonating anybody but myself from a different time.

 

And I know, Zlixine doesn't have the best reputation in the modding community, but still, no one has the right to impersonate him, or any one else, to start a flame war against any one (in this case BE7AMOD) because at the end of the day, especially yesterday, you are going to present yourself as an idiot that no one will want to play with or against and you might as well quit online gaming all together imo.

zlixine was banned for totally reasons unrelated to Game Modding here in Revora.

I have never seen zlixine enter the MO multiplayer lobby before until that day. I was surprised to find him there.

And lately I am hearing a "Speeder" (not the real Speeder, you can check via IRC) playing multiplayer games with other people, using tactics the real Speeder would not do (i.e. play a lousy game/troll people). This is kinda crossing the line here.

IMO we should at least put Beta Revision off until cncnet5 is tested and integrated with it. Hopefully cncnet5 can control this issue, if only for a bit. Beta Revision is months away anyway, the difference should not be that great.

Not only Speeder's name was used, but also Zenothist.

And I confronted this person, talked Dutch to him, as I knew he wasn't the real deal, and he confessed: "I use this name, to get some attention, cuz no one wants to play with me"

 

This was the day after my rant and I linked him to the video, resulting in him changing his name to something more original. He learned.

 

I have seen zlixine in the lobby before, right after the releasestreams had happened, but we never got a game as he kept on bitching about you know what.

Best thing to do is: Do a screenshot when you see a suspect using developers names, and save it with the date and hour when he was online, so the developer can confirm if he was that player or a fake.

Too much hassle. Just go to IRC at the same time as the appearance, and ask the real deal (it is practically impossible to impersonate as staff or tester there, because we have special markers, and the rest of the people can single out a fake one). Probably if he is playing, he is also in IRC (except for some cases).

No one is going to bother collecting screenshots for this. Why trouble yourself?

I think nothing can be done about that guy and somehow I feel that Uro is innocent in this matter. Just try to ignore that player.

Come to know of it, it was "AJ 2" who later talked crap to me and other nasty stuff :/

Kind of like Doomhammer (pc) and DoomyMobile (laptop)

 

so if AJ2 ws talking crap to you, it was AJ himself (or some on who got a hold of his laptop) and you probably deserved it

How can you say I deserved it? I joined the lobby said "Yo" and he change his name to "Haxxan Sucks" and later the same day(today) he even said really offensive stuff to me and even resorted to racism after I beat him.

You Can Ask Lan and Tequila if you don't believe me.

I'm a witness to the racism part because you showed me a screen of after you defeated him.  It makes me want to give that AJ a piece of my mind. -.-
