How would one edit buildlists for skirmish ?

So I recently had time to reinstall PR after some computer issues.

Basically, I'm wanting to add the Victory I Star Destroyer because the missle spam is fun.

It's easy enough. Open config.meg using the editor available here http://modtools.petrolution.net/ and extract the appropriate starbases file. Put it in the XML folder and edit the units that the skirmish Golans and X7s can build in the <Tactical_Buildable_Objects_Multiplayer> tag.

Another question, how would one go about rescaling everything ?

Basically, I figure if the space maps are so small, why not just resize everything to 1/2 or 1/3 of their current size, and boom suddenly the maps don't seem cramed to a silly degree.

Of course I'm basing the idea on the assumption that there's some .xml or other text file with a value to adjust for the scale display size like some other RTSs I've played have.

Unfortunately you can't do a uniform rescale on everything. Every unit has its own scaling value and each map has a unique size.

Well no global value to change takes the scale idea away.

Ah well I'll come up with some other idea to have the maps not look so silly small

(note: obviously not PRs fault, EAW was a rather cartoonish SW game from the start)

It's easy enough to create skirmish maps. You can open existing skirmish maps if you extract them, and then simply change the scale and move parts around.

If I'm feeling better from this cold come the weekend, I just may try that.

I primarily play skirmish against the AI for the shorter match, and quite simply put the maps are horribly lacking for that purpose.
