Funny comparison, as both sides got some "cash" out of such action. Well, Soviet Russia got it in work, while Yuri straight from the matter of the victim and even both are effective ways of eliminating your opponents.

Oh yes Human Shield. I just recorded that 2 days ago .. it just drags on for so long and one overlooked sniper/dog is all that it takes to make you restart........"I think I've got all the snipers now.....*pock dead psi corps trooper*.....not....restart "

 

1 additional psi corps trooper would reduce the lenght without taking much away from the difficulty. You still would have to be careful, but fewer repetitive walks from the allied base to the war factories would be nessesary. (and 1 loss would be acceptable) Reducing the war factories to only 2 (one at the top and one at the bottom) would also help -- you still need to go into the enemy bases but fewer walks to make.

 

I do not dare to imagine what this would have be like with the old version without ravens!

 

For Archetype I must say I had no real problems with snipers when I played it for myself on Mental. I just saw them sneaking by but not going for my troops specifically.

Lovalmidas is really a sadist map editor. It took me 50 tries to complete your Singularity on Mental. 25 during 3.0 and another 25 during 3.3.0. Moonlight only took me 5 times. But I plan to re-do it some other time using ground units only...

I think is like force shield 2.0 you can move the blast/damage to enemy base xD
