Now this I like much better. Still rather subtle, but the dots can be connected so much easier. All the while remaining powerful and dramatic.
My only suggestion, perhaps make the road curve to the left instead of right. I feel it could symbolize the path he's trying to lead.

Ok... now that's a bunch of duck doo-doo.

You're joking, right? You could not possibly be so divine that your view of art is superior.
I think it will compliment the piece without changing anything largely noticeable.

Um, while thanks, the road is actually thought out, and leads deliberately away from the church. Away from societies last straggling structures of the verge of nowhere, into the unknown.

Alright well, I'll just take my place on the sideline then.
-edit-
Fuck it, a compromise then. A small scraggly worn down path, almost invisible to the naked eye, proposing a "forbidden path" to the church.
Bloody hell, is it so righteous that I propose a connection to the oppressed position?

You turned K into a frothing berserker, Ren. Only years of well timed failure and black market therapy sessions will cure him.

Years of well timed failure. Sounds like my daily life. Keep in mind I am in the military, a slave to the US government. They proceed to fuck me over in almost countless ways.

Betray your country and mock them with their lack of symbolism.

Ah, so you propose a sentence for traitor-ism?

Yes. Then Ren will make a picture of you upon success.

I'm not attacking you Ren. I just refuse to be ridiculed by someone who has no comprehension of reality in the "real world". (Pas)

It's a good thing we're discussing a picture of a fictional scene then. My delusional brain fairies make me over-qualified.

Which is good. Over-qualification is always appreciated amongst the greats.

That's because you just don't get it, man. You don't get art. Maybe.
To be fair, if you ignore the metaphors... the techniques are there and very cool, but it doesn't make much to look at. I'm no expert person thing man or anything, but great art is fun to look at. At the moment, I'm looking at a man's beaten back and some light in the distance. It symbolizes Satan eating children, or something profound, but it needs to be... something. Something else. My background art was Kurt Russel staring down a dragon 2 years ago. It might be dimwitted and without metaphors, but it's fun to look at. Helpful? Maybe? No? Just me? Alright, just me.

Alright, just me.
Don't think I could have said it better myself. Pas, being an obnoxious twat doesn't make you friends. I'm not accusing you as such, but you might want to be careful you don't earn that name from someone soon.
