Is the following doable (using current ingame assets only).
I don't know the workings of this game yet, but the dependencies that control building and research seem like an area ripe for exploitation as a way to make the game more enjoyable.
Anyway the idea:
Make a copy of the trade station .xml, and call it 'menu station'.
change the cost/time to minimum
when researched, it unlocks on that planet an options menu made out of research options.
when researched, those make changes to the dependencies of other units.
Basically, for example, set it so you could swap your bombers out between torpedo/rocket/bomb ordinance, you swap which bomber version is built.
Needless to say, if doable, once perfected this could add quite a few options.
