I have a new idea for a mod in RA2YR by combining Mental Omega's sub-faction style and AGSA's Combat Doctrine style of teching. The storyline is based on the idea that the Nazi's didn't rise in Europe but Imperial Japan still went to war in 1940s.

America did react to Japan's act of war by countering the forces that attacked Pearl Harbor but due to the lack of funding and support from the Europe, since they're seeing the looming threat that might come from the Soviet Union, US failed to protect their satellite states in Asia except for Australia. Imperial Japan moved in to the rest of Asia with ease and the only problem of the "Doves of the Peace Party" is having the conquered people to support their empire and with Emperor Hirohito's support this was done with ease, to spare the lives of Japanese soldiers. Imperial Japan resorted to use fair diplomacy treaties to other Asian countries to conquer the hearts of its people. With the empire consolidating in power, the Soviets are now itching for a fight and the rest of the world is prepared to go to war but all this faded away because to the global peace treaty officiated by the League of Nations in 1945, stopping all forms of military campaigns or face certain penalties or the possibility of war. The Empire was in the signing of the treaty and the Soviets, having a little pain in their hearts, went through peaceably. Peace and Prosperity ran through the three superpowers but 35 years have passed and the Empire has now greater plans for its people while the Soviets pave the way to a new world of communism. War is in the wind but the storm hasn't arrived yet, prepare yourself Commander.

So here are the Factions, their Sub-factions and their locations:

 

Soviet Union:
- U.S.S.R. (Self-explanatory)
- S.P.D. [Soviet Psicorps Division] (Location Unknown)
- S.A.U. [Soviet American Union] (Latin America)

Allied Nations:
- U.S.A. (they put Canada under their protection)

- European Powers (Self-explanatory)

- Oceanic Front (Australia and the Oceanic Islands)

 

Asian Empire:
- Imperial Triangle (China, Manchukuo and Japan)
- Pacific Armada (South East Asian Countries)

- Peninsula Legion (India and some parts of South Africa)

*In order to gain more interest, I'm putting more content but I'm open to ideas and some support.

Hmm. Why separate Japan from the rest of the Axis? I know they are not really cooperating operation-wise, but at least they were close allies, at least in one aspect - anti-Communism (the Anti-Comintern Pact gave birth to the Axis alliance).

Also, China and Japan have been enemies well before WWII. In fact it is a scholarly debate whether it is more accurate to define the starting point of WWII as the Second Sino-Japanese War of 1939. They probably won't come into one grouping anytime soon.

I guess you have your reasons for listing the UK as "the Underground". What about the other European countries?

I'll leave it up to you though. You might just do a better job in twisting history than WW (or EA).


P.S. Poor Africa. You always get ignored. And I don't mean North Africa. :')

I like your argument and opinion but how things went before, during and after 1945 has actually a twist.
P.S. Hitler dies of heart attack and old age, or at least because of all his goddamn yelling "Sieg Heil" and "Heil Hitler" but I'll tell you why the Asia seperated from Axis but it would be a mouthful.

This means a bigass goddamn list of units for each faction and sub-faction, can you guys give me a list as how you did your infantry and units and all that sort because I used to have a notebook with alot listed down but I'm not sure about it since I'm not familiar on teching.

Also, the rest of Europe is under Axis control except for Britain

So basically, would this be a mod or a mod concept you ask someone to mod it for you? Not like there's much difference in that two. Noone cares about words without showcasing progression, since all current C&C modders are already busy with own projects and don't really want to join to something which has nothing more than an idea atm.

There's no need to get hostile and offensive on this one buddy, I'll work on this when I have own computer (I'm currently using my mother's laptop right now), modding programs and alot of free time to work on this. I just want to vent this idea out because I just tend to talk to myself about it. There's hardly a nearby modder in my country. I'm sorry if my post offended you but I guess I just never saw this in a modder's POV. I'm starting to sound like Be7Amod

Technically I'm Filipino too though. Genobreaker is there but yeah he's busy with RL now that he's working in ABS-CBN.

I'll try my best to make some good out of this idea so wouldn't end up like the unfortunate one. BTW, I'm only 15. I've seen some Wc3 filipino mapmakers who are a year younger or two years older than me and make wicked sick maps and triggers that makes my mouth flow out rainbows (I added this for the fun of it).
