United states - Lasers tech. Like tanya, warhawk, aeroblaze and abrams tank.
Euro alliance - chrono tech. Like siegfried, chrono legion and charon tank.
Pacific front - cryogenic tech. Like norio, cryo commando and blizzard tank.

Russia - tesla tech. Like volkov, tesla trooper and tesla cruiser.
Cnfederation - smoke & flame tech. Like morales, pyro, smoke bomb, drakuv, mortar quad and buratino.
China - EMP & monster units tech. Like EM Pulse, EMP mine, Yunru, Nuwa cannon, Dragonfly and the Centurion.

PsiCorps - Psychic & railguns tech. Like Railgun tower, maruder, Epsilon elite, mastermind and libra.
Scorpion cell - Viruses & Poisons tech. Like Malver, stinger, plague splater, tyrant, weaver and molebomb
Headquarters - Stealth & Mutation tech. Like Rahn, Brute, colossus, shadow tank, geneburst, Reshep and irkalla.

No, we are not doing stuff like C&C Generals: Zero Hour, where everything for a faction was about one specific technology. I know that 80% of the USA exclusives are armed with lasers, but we want to avoid stuff like that, specially considering that we want to be more creative than doing this kind of limit.

 

The Cryo Trooper thing is pretty much a no becoz the reasons I said earlier and becoz they already have another unit on their arsenal that does the exact same thing, the Blizzard Tank.

Not really. Prism Tanks, which are Euro only, act as EA siege unit and also anti-infantry hole. Siege Cadres are a T2 siege troopers which are around to help the Allies to bypass defences when on T2, while the Soviets can simply push trough with Borillos and Trucks/Buggies and Epy can use drillers and a smart use of Invaders.

 

Siege Cadres are occupying a unique hole for the Allies, without counting that they are a classic unit on MO (Enforcers). The Cryo Trooper (and the Laser Trooper which was suggested later) which was suggested for the blind “this faction has “x” tech” and for a blind “insert unit here for the coolness factor, ignoring any balance move”.

 

I can also believe that you will think “So have it as a replacement for the Allies SEAL, duh”. That´s another problem. The SEAL is not only anti-infantry, but also serves on the bridge destroying  hole and naval support, important functions which those 2 other folks would not have. “So make them also plant C4s and swim around”. That´s another no. We don´t want simple SEALs with minor differences between them.

Once I suggested a Ninja for SEAL replacament for Pacific Front, but it got refused. xD Although the main purpose would be the same except it one-hit kills infantry and it would be a close combat unit. And cannot attack tanks... Although... Well... Cryoblade Katana!
