First and last are my favourites. Did you ever try HDR compositions?

"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

Thanks, y'all. But HDR's not an option, I have a phone camera and that's it, since I can't charge my actual camera yet. Thus as ever, I make do with what I've got.

HDR ,   lol    want a really easy fast Poormans HDR ? sure you do,

Here is how to do it , take a photo of your scene ... then hold your phone the other way up and retake the photo.

These two photos will have a mildly different range due to the way the camera in your phone meters light.

Combine using any hdr software and you will see mild improvement.. still its good to note your photos look better then average.

I took another look at these photos. The top one is really, really good. I love the composition, it greatly reminds me of the sort of paintings I like. That's the sign of a good eye, when a photograph's composition overtakes its subject matter to make it abstract.

I'm not entirely sure how to respond to that, since 'thanks' seems so underappreciative. So... wow. Um... thank you, and I'll try to keep that in mind for the future ones.
