What is the first game you've ever beat?

I am trying to think back to remember the first game I ever beat but since it's likely more than 20 years ago I have to think.

For me it's probably a NES game.

Donkey Kong Country on the Super Nintendo. Was and still is, my favorite game of all time.

Uhh... Dragon's Lair, I believe.  Or Lemmings... I can't be asked to remember.

I had to think long and hard about it but I think mine was Snake Rattle 'n' Roll for the NES.

Hey, I remember that one.  I think I had that for my Sega.  It locked up half the time, but I remember it.

If playing a Transport Tycoon Deluxe game 'til 2050 counts then prolly that (since I can't remember how was that shooting game called I had on my Commodore 128) if not, I'll just say Chip'n'Dale Rescue Rangers NES.

Yes, it most certainly does. =D I play Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe, if you want to give the game another crack.

I always remember completing Sonic 2 for the first time at my neighbours house, was probably around 4 years old. Was an amazing few hours in front of the tele.

Probably good old Spyro: Legend of the Dragonfly. Such an awesome game, though I know a lot of people would disagree.

I never got into platformers, other than Metroid, Super Mario 64, and a bunch of Gameboy junk.   I was probably too busy playing Thief: The Dark Project, Bard's Tale, and text adventures to care for jumping around and nonsense.  Then again... I play lots of puzzle platformers, so it's weird how that turned out.

Yea, I know OpenTTD. Pretty much from the days of 0.6.0, when it finally surpassed most of the limits of TTDPatch. And I still go mad that there's a really, reaaaally old stand-alone tourists newgrf, FIRS doesn't have tourist and you have to enable all ECS if you want to use every tourist building...

 a real classic!

"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

Oh man, I loved Zork.  The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy text adventure has a lot of Zork references, which is absolutely wonderful.
