Hello again, Phoenix Rising Community

 

I have another suggestion that I would like to see in the next version and that is the clone anti-troopers from the Battlefront 2 game.

I believe we could make Kamino a little more unique if the rebellion would be able to clone anti-troopers against the Galactic Empire. They would pretty much be similiar to the Clone Stormtroopers of the Empire but just with a different model.

 

But in case to keep it canon, we could have them as starting forces for Kamino's Independent faction so that way players can re-enact the battlefront 2 level in Phoenix Rising. I mean we already have Gizor Dellso and his droid armies so why not have this?

The Rebels can train clones on planets with that capability in PR. We'll probably get around to adding models for them eventually.

Having scripted mission events is a good thing. Uprising, civil war, treachery or pirate attack on planet X on 32nd week for empire, destroy superweapon research/production facility (e.g. Arc Hammer to prevent dark trooper production) after empire built it for rebels. There are lots of great stories from the EU to implement into campaigns.

There I have to agree, however I'd rather have the greater number of them be activated thru researching/building a hero who allow worlds with the proper buildings to build that heroes forces, for example if the Rebels research Talon Karrde, and you to build various ships from his smuggler fleet along with hero versions of various light freighters with heavier guns, or for the Imps researching Moff Tavara and at a certain point her pirate fleet becomes buildable (with bulk cruisers in the next version, this would  pretty much just leave them lacking the TIE clutch and other uglies).

Basically, you build the hero, it allows building subsidary units/characthers, which unlock events occurring.
