Just thought you guys might like to hear about what's going on with your main "rivals":
whoa, talk about one in the eye for them!
Blitzkrieg 2 site down indefinitely.
A few hours ago, GameSpy nuked our site and pulled our hosting. They did this because they found a copy of the Half-Life 2 source code uploaded to our site. Apparently, a staff member of mine uploaded the file to the site. However, we did not have a download link for that on our site or forums for the source. While doing routine checks on their hosted sites, GameSpy found the file and promptly nuked our entire site. I understand their need to remove the file, since it potentially could have placed them in legal troubles. I am very upset that a staff member of mine would abuse their privileges like this. Either way, our site will be down indefinitely.

As they've said though, the site being down doesn't affect the mod progress, it is just the site and forums. They are still working on it and such. There is quite a discussion about this over at Deezire.

i wouldn't be stupid enough to do that. and personally, i don't find half-life a good game, counter-strike and day of defeat i like though.

our gameplay stuff is mainly discussed in staff and through MSN.
this thread was also created a fair while ago, when all of us were reallt pissed off with blitz. but now most of us have pulled our heads out of our asses, and decided to listen to some of your suggestions.
