I recently managed to learn how to model myself, using zBrush, where I can use my old school knowledge in traditional sculpting to create high res models (like Great Goblin and Azog below) that I later retopologize into fairly low res for in game use. I don't know how to rig models though, and even if I did it would take even more time from modding, than what the modeling part already do so... I'm just gonna go ahead and ask if anyone might be interested in helping out with rigging of my models to the SKL or SKLs of choice. It might require 2-3 rigs per model in order to test what anims look best for the model in question. So, if someone finds rigging fairly fun and would like to help out on a fairly regular basis - let me know =)

Honestly, you're better off learning yourself. Like zBrush, it takes a little while to get the hang of it, but once you have it takes about 5-10 mins to rig a model. Not just that, but it gets it working more how you'd like it to than if someone else does it.

No one exclusively rigs any more, not since the old days when apparently it took 5 people to churn out a single low quality model and texture.

Rigging is really very easy to learn. The tutorials on the website cover all you need to know.

You know... it wouldn't really take time away from modding, because it's a part of modding
Rigging is fairly easy, when you get the hang of it. If you auto-bind the model, you'll usually get a fair idea if the model will fit the skeleton and anims. That is certainly possible for you to manage

For humanoids there's a pretty reliable thing I do, Select all the vertices Auto bind then manually bind the underarm vertices and the chest line vertices to the ribs and waist to root dummy for more rotund models and head to head.
That will usually do it for most humanoid models the rest is all trial and error.

I don't have/use 3DStudioMax... Can it be done in RenX, if the model is .OBJ? I heard that rigging is a pain in the B, but what do I know..

It can be done in RenX, but I suggest you just ...get... 3ds max 8. You can import an .obj file, convert it to editable poly, do the rigging, then export it to a w3d file.
It can be a pain in the ass (depending on the complexity of the model/skeleton), but it's definitely doable. You could probably learn it within a single afternoon. Believe me, relying on other people to do it for you is much more of a pain.

High-poly models are not that easy to rig at some point. There is a bit of imagination there also.

Well yeah, but I also find it very motivating to work in a team, assuming everybody finds their tasks fun. A big part of modding for me, is working with friends (even if it's only online all over the world) that have a common interest and hobby, however nerdy it might be ;p If you're gonna do everything yourself, you might as well skip the whole forum part in a way I should be coding now, but instead I'm modeling as I need some new models for the "goblin" faction, and noone wants to donate or do them for us... so, coding has to wait. The more I do myself, the longer it takes and with a mod that is 8 years old now, any help is appreciated. So regardless if I can and want to learn rigging or not, I'm still gonna throw the open invitation to anyone that might want to help.

Oh, I forgot to add.. Whoever would do a great job of rigging my models, would also aquire the right to use them in their own mod.
