Oh, and 1 more thing: anyone else *hated* the I See Fire song? Ed Sheeran... really?
The Song of the Lonely Mountain (the credits song for AUJ), however, is really great.

Song is good - but out of place. Can't recall I ever got that feeling from any LOTR movie, so this just adds to the feeling of a random movie production and not a die hard franchise concept. Also... what's up with all the stuff jammed into Bolg's body? I know the story behind his changed look from pre-rel pictures of the actor Conan Stevens to the CGI version. I hated the beard they put on the first version, but who came up with the weird idea of putting big chunks of metal plates into his rib area? They don't offer any protection as armor, and should pose problems and restict his movement. Not to mention cause pain..

Like Azog, they're ritual cruelties.

In the original design Azog had those pieces of metal. Apparentlly they got transeferd to Bolg.

Hm, well I find them strange and out of place. Ritual sounds good as the Gundabad Orcs seem the be of tribal origin, but that should leave scars like on Azog, not permanent ornaments that would cause cronic pain and reduce his movement capabilities.
