So, I have a mod i idea for BFME 2 that will primarily aim to split the Elves into 3 factions with their own strengths and weaknesses. PM me if you are interested in the mod. I have no modding experience at all so i'd like to have someone bring this to the BFME community!

I have the advantages worked out. Mirkwood has the best early infantry, all of whom can stealth, and they're buildings can stealth near trees. Mirkwood archers do the most damage but shoot slower than Lorien archers. Lorien infantry are as fast as cavalry, and they're archers shoot as fast as Legolas, but do as much damage as Rivendell archers. Rivendell infantry have heavier armor on their early units but they have the worst archers. That's not even all! Mirkwood focuses on stealth and archers, Lorien on speed and raiding, and Rivendell on cavalry and heavy infantry.

Bit far, Rad. But my question is, why do this? What significance will this mod bring to the game?

Well, each elven faction has light and heavy infantry. Mirkwood gets Mirkwood skirmishers, Mirkwood archers, and Mirkwood spearmen.Mirkwood light infantry looks like the elves in The Hobbit, with the green clothes and their weapons. The
Mirkwood Royal Guard would be the heavy infantry of the faction, based on the design in The Hobbit with sword, archer, and spearman varieties. The Mirkwood Heros would be Thranduil, Legolas and Tauriel. Thranduil would stay much the same, Legolas would get the armor from DOS and would be the leader of the Royal Guard, and Tauriel would be head of the basic infantry.

Do you really wish to simply delegate your project to others just because you lack experience in modding? Why don't you gather some experience by getting it started?

What screwy kind of engine are you using if it's not even able to run stuff like FinalBIG or Audacity?
Have you ever tried to mod in a mod? Like RJ, for example?

The RJ-Mod doesn't use BIG-files, which allows you to easily access, study and edit most of it's content with Notepad.

Well then, S.E.E is made up the same way, if I recall it correctly.
Also ... you hopefully wanted to type $20, didn't you?
