Yea, U-Play and Origin are pains in the PC master race's booty.  I hope they tank and fail.  But at least Ubisoft has the decency to at least sell their games on Steam.  EA doesn't even allow that.

Crusader Kings 2 is awesome. Buy it if you're interested.

I have heard.  That keeps getting recommended to me, but I still dunno.  I've also heard a certain someone has a certain trade request on Steam that they should attend to.

Origin is a hell of a lot better than uPlay. EA at least gives you a freebie game every month or so and it's easy to use. Even if you get a Ubisoft game on Steam, you still need to use fucking uPlay.

Yea, that's pretty true.  They both need to learn that games and how they can launch are important to lots of PC users.  Like how I find it important to have my entire game collection be on Steam and run when I simply click on it.  No Uplay screens popping up, or anything like that.  I'm also very keen on my achievements.  I quite enjoy them.  That's why I have a series on my channel dedicated to achievements.  I don't care about achievements for Uplay points, or EA buckz, or wherever they call them.  I want them in one convenient place.  Yea, it's nice they're handing out free games, but their generosity comes at a price.  I don't follow Origin since I'm currently boycotting EA, but these magical floating platforms on PC limit and inconvenience the customers, and they will do anything to be the biggest inconvenience in your gaming life.  My point on Origin being worse that Uplay is that it even gimps sales like this.  What if I want some Dead Space games on the summer sale?  EA doesn't list their games on Steam, so the Summer Adventure game can't possibly apply to them... the discounts won't apply to them... they're just floating in a mythical space time void of silliness.

If you want to compare sales, use Cheap Shark. Really good service for finding deals on the major PC game retail sites.

I bought Papers, Please... since I want to suffer.  And also, Skyrim is only like 5 bucks, or around 2 pounds.  That's nuts.  If you're the last person on Earthmas that hasn't experienced Skyrim, now's your chance!

I think that would be me, I have still yet to buy it, in all honesty I don't think it will run too well on my rig.

Fuck I hate my country sometimes on the sales page it says Skyrim is selling for $8.74 I run that same page through a US Proxy and now it's $5.

Yea, I hated that when I was in England.  I may be able to help you into tricking Steam into thinking that you're in America.  I was able to do that, and it saved me so much money.

By using a proxy and setting my location to the US.

It doesn't matter so much since I'm flat broke and will be for a while to come.

Oh.  It's actually just a matter of setting your location to the US, not confirming that you live in the US when you're purchasing something, then immediately confirming it when it fails.  That somehow breaks Steam.  And yea, this is the worst time of the year to be without the mean green.

Ok this time Planetary Annihilation is £10 which is $17 apparently for next 21 hours. Super serious this time.

Sure, add me in PA because I don't use the steam version. Or talk to me on Steam first.

You're on my friends list. We can just do voice chat and host a game.  Works just as well.

I got Far Cry 3 - Blood Dragon, AssCreed Liberation HD and Octodad: Dadliest Catch, for a grand total of 22 Euros. None of them were daily deals, by the way.

Some other things were potentially interesting, but the queue is full!

You know what's funny? Normally whenever a game on my wishlist goes on sale, Steam emails me. Now, when almost all the games on it are on sale, I got nothin'.
