We do not currently support Steam versions of the games. It's being worked on.

In the meantime you can use your Steam serial key to install another version (here be pirates).

Yes, it works on Origin. Just make sure to run the launcher as administrator.

Yes,  run the origin version and afterwards navigate to your logfile in %TEMP%, post it here.

"To know what question we may reasonably propose is in itself a strong evidence of sagacity or intelligence. For if a question be in itself incongruous and begs for uncalled-for answers, it holds, sometimes, besides embarrassing the proposer, the disadvantage to seduce the unguarded listener into giving absurd answers, and we are presented with the ridiculous spectacle of one (as the ancients said) milking the he-goat, and the other holding a sieve beneath."

That is still the Steam version, which doesn't work (for most people). Try the Origin version.

My steam version of RA3 didn't work at first from the launcher, but when I hooked it, the connection was successful!
I recommend at least trying the Hook->Red Alert 3 option from the menu (in the C&C:Online launcher), and launching it with the steam shortcut (the one it placed on your desktop, that's actually a url pointing to "steam://rungameid/17480").

Isti115

ps.:yes, the launcher comes up either way, so you have to click the "Red Alert 3" button, but this method luckily works for me :)

You're able to connect and play with your Steam version of RA3?
