Do you run the C&C:Online launcher as administrator?

Right click launcher shortcut > Properties > Compatibility > Tick the run as administrator box.

That does not exist in WinXP :glare:

Check if you have a cracked cnc3_game.dat or the game EXE.

Cracked versions are not supported and may not function properly. If you use the original disc, you should be able to launch it.

You need to post your log file.   It's here on XP

OK There is no way that that folder should be empty.  Are you sure that you have used the correct user name?   If so, go to the folder again.   In the "Tools" menu, hit "Folder Options" then the "view" tab.   In "Hidden files and folders", select "Show hidden files and folders".   Is it still empty?

Hi GL-HF-GG,

Please add detailed description of the exact problem, your installation etc.
Thanks

Don't rush to such ultradark conclusions. Of course it doesn't work right for everyone, it was to be expected. Many people hopped in straight away, many didn't. That's pretty annoying, yet normal.

Or rather, the death of your patience as volunteers work hard to help everyone experiencing issues in a product they created for free in their own time.

Please don't derail this thread further. If you are having issues, create your own thread (according to the guidelines presented in the pinned threads) and we will help you.

Run C&C:Online, "provoke" an error and then copy the text here.

What is 'adi1133's KW addon to standalone patch'? I'm guessing that is what is causing the game not to launch.

Ah, it's one of those pirate workarounds that makes KW run on its own without requiring TW to be installed.
