[Ultimate Collection][Hooked] C&C Online Crashes...

Best Answer StoneCold, 05 July 2014 - 11:00 PM

I've hooked RA3 and I HAVE used the Ultimate Edition patcher.

The patching was successful, but when I press the RA3 button it just crashes the C&C Online launcher and opens the C&C Online launcher again ;-;

I've also encountered that previously. The only way you'll solve it is to:

a) Make sure Origin is open in the background (meaning ensure that it's in your system tray)

b) Then launch the C&C Online launcher as administrator via desktop shortcut

c) Disable the hooking for any / all of the games that you have enabled it for

d) Run the game you wish to play by clicking on the relevant button in the launcher

e) Play!

Previously I did use the hooking option, which meant if I launched my game in Origin (lets say Generals), it will then open up the launcher instead of giving me the option to choose between Generals and ZH. Sometimes, I too would encounter the bug of the launcher opening up another instance of the launcher and then having it crash. That's why I say, just ensure that Origin is open in the background, then launch the launcher via shortcut on the desktop. Ensure that hooking is disabled and simply click the button of the game you wish to play in the launcher :)

"The specified Online ID or name is already in use."

Its possible that someone else (or you) might have reserved your ID already or a similar ID to play on the server. Have a look at this thread: http://forums.revora...ber-management/  or otherwise send ToxicShock a pm and ask him to check if your ID is already present on the server. Remember, you need to use your forum name as your Online ID ingame along with the email address you used to signup here on the forums with the password you set on your profile.
