Download the latest C&C:Online launcher (2.04, you can update it from your currently installed launcher), and also download and install GenTool 6.5 (http://www.gentool.net/).

I just did all that and it still wouldn't connect. Here's what I did to fix it.

 

Fix "Couldn't connect to Generals Zero Hour online"

1. Uninstall Generals and Zero Hour
2. Uninstall Origins
3. Uninstall Gen Tool
4. Uninstall C&C Online
5. Delete all your Command and Conquer folders/ files in your documents folder (C:\Users\User\Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data etc.)
6. Re-Install Origins
7. Re-Install Generals and Zero Hour
8. Re-Install Gen Tool (latest version)
9. Re-Install C&C Online (latest version)

 

After all this Hook Zero Hour/Generals then run your regular shortcut as administrator. Hit Zero Hour until it brings the game up, use your revora email and c&c password and login.

 

Works 100% for me now.
